creative invitations

Traditional invitations are timeless and classic, never out of style. But with today’s brides expressing more of their personal style in all aspects of their weddings, the more creative and individualistic stylings for invitations have really captivated my attention! Check out some of this eye candy.

first up, fun inspiration from KenzieKate; their design styles listed below:

Cozumel

Copenhagen

St. Augustine

Metropolis

Charlotte

…and some designs featured on Beast Pieces (which I have previously been enamored with, as read here)

no script, just the facts

simple, pretty geometric design

LOVE the way all the different pieces relate, but aren't identical

some beauties from The Pressroom & Co., recently featured on Style Me Pretty (which by the way is an amazing source of inspiration for all things wedding!):

and lastly, 2 lovelies that I don’t have sources for, but have been in my personal inspiration files for some time now…

I love how fun and laid back this is, but obviously with so much attention to detail

All these images and thoughts to say yes, there is more out there than black script on ivory stock, but no, that traditional isn’t out either. Speaking of customized design, if you are interested in having your own personal invitations, programs, place cards, etc. custom made, I Do offers this at phenomenal prices! We even work with printers (local and nationwide) directly to ensure seamless and stress free service, without marking up the cost to provide any additional profit for ourselves.
