A full immersion into the world of wedding planning, our internship puts you right into the middle of things, from weekly in-office planning all the way to the big events all over Upstate SC, including some of the most prestigious locations in and around downtown Greenville.
-Receive and answer phone calls and emails from clients and vendors
-Schedule and/or attend appointments with clients and/or vendors along with I Do staff, at times onsite at a venue
-Create and/or update client file details, including but not limited to contact information, budgeting, design/theme, RSVP monitoring/management and layout for their event
-Research trends, vendor/venue availability and/or capabilities on behalf of the client
-Create, revise and/or send out digital contracts for clients
-Follow up with vendors & clients after events for feedback and resources to utilize through social media
-Work with our media manager to help update I Do’s social media regularly (Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and blog)
-File, organize, and maintain client documents (both paper & digital)
-Assist coordinator(s) onsite at rehearsals and weddings; aid in coordination of the events
Time commitment: roughly 200-400 hrs internship requirement (roughly 3.5 months, 2-4 full days a week), divided into primarily weekdays but also including weekends (actively assisting with weddings during the months of the internship). This position is unpaid, but can/will fulfill internship course credits for undergrad collegiate internship requirements.
