Real Wedding: Beth & Brandon

Posted November 12, 2015

Sprawling, lush green vineyards? Check. Romantic, sheer lace illusion back gown with sweeping chiffon skirt? Check. Soft golden sunset light streaming down like a smile from heaven? Check. And so the scene was set with everything Beth and Brandon could possibly need for a beautiful outdoor spring wedding. One of our favorite outdoor venues, the gorgeous Chattooga Belle Farm, was the perfect backdrop for this lovely wedding. We loved their romantic table centerpieces: stacks of old books were tied with string, placed alongside dainty teacups and lots of glowing candles. The touches of lace on Beth’s gown, the rustic wooden cake stands, breathtaking views, all paired together with simple baby’s breath bouquets created a perfect mix for a slightly vintage and completely charming feel.  Beth and Brandon’s bridal party looked perfectly on point: rich eggplant, knee length bridesmaids gowns in various styles looked fabulous paired with the groomsmen’s crisp light khaki suits.

The reception kicked off with signature cocktails, a blueberry mojito almost too pretty to drink. The groom’s grandmother, Mimi, made a variety of Lebanese appetizers, which guests thoroughly enjoyed and quickly snapped up. The groom’s mother was deceased, so in a touching moment, Mimi and his aunt both stepped in for the mother & son dance. This reception was so centered around the couple’s family in so many ways. We always love observing the unique ways family ties are honored during a wedding celebrations. In one of the most fun moments we have seen to date, the groom’s family surprised the bride and groom and guests with a flash mob after the toasts. Guests gathered around a fire pit with s’mores to complete the evening, as Beth and Brandon had planned not to observe the usual “grand exit”. Mojitos, s’mores, and a flashmob—we can’t think of a better way to have spent the evening! Keep scrolling for fabulous photos of it all by the ever talented Chris Isham below!
