Real Wedding: Brooke & Stephen

Posted March 10, 2016

Brooke and Stephen’s July wedding personified the marriage of timeless class and modern bling styles in one prefect day. Every detail from fashion to decor unified old southern charm with a touch of bling while highlighting the couple’s love of the Gamecocks though their black and garnet color pallet. The couple’s goal from the start was to celebrate their marriage with a great party and their Downtown Greenville wedding did not disappoint!

The fashion could be described in one word- glam! Brooke wore a show stopping strapless princess ballgown with exquisite beaded detail on the bodice. She carried a full bouquet of red-roses with rhinestones adding bling to the classic detail.  Throughout the night we caught young girls stop and stare at her, no doubt feeling that they met a real life princess! We love when couples subtly weave their college affiliations into the details of their day and Brooke and Stephen did just that through their color choices for the day. Bridesmaids wore coordinating black, floor length gowns but were able to choose their own necklines to match their style best and carried bouquets of pure white roses. The maid and matron of honor both wore matching floor length beaded gowns that reflected the style of both the bridesmaid dresses and Brooke’s dress helping them stand out just enough without stealing the show. Groomsmen wore black tuxes with boutonnieres of white roses while Stephen sported a white tux with a red red rose boutonniere.

Once the church ceremony was over, everyone headed over to the reception where they were greeted with an elegantly apportioned ballroom where tables were covered with white linens, black table runners and decorated with more bling and red roses as the centerpieces. The dazzling five-tier wedding cake had plain white icing but bands of rhinestones and cascading red roses from top to bottom. It was so lovely we hated to see the couple cut the cake, but it tasted as wonderful as it looked so it was a short lived sadness! Brooke and Stephen’s biggest priority, other than getting married of course, was to celebrate with all their friends and family and celebrate they did! Everyone enjoyed a high-energy reception full of laughter and top-shelf dance moves. After a wonderful reception the couple left through a tunnel of sparklers held by guests, many of whom had tears of joy in their eyes for the new couple. Congrats, Brooke and Stephen- it was an honor to be a part of your special celebration!
