Real Wedding: Denning & Tyler

Posted December 1, 2015

One of the most fun parts of a wedding is when we get to see all the fun, original ideas that brides have for making their day stand out. Sometimes it’s custom signage, or a spectacular personalized favor. At Denning and Tyler’s wedding last May, it was Denning’s avant garde wedding gown that had our jaws dropping. Structured layers and tonal white stripes made a bold, flirty statement. It was a fresh and fun paired with coral, blush & pink peonies (a classic summer favorite), pale pink bridesmaids dresses and quintessential black tuxes.

Denning and Tyler’s wedding was breathtaking, thanks to some stunning views borrowed from the always gorgeous Glassy Chapel and the Cliffs at Mountain Park Cart Barn, both located within the scenic Cliffs community. ModFete outdid themselves, adding arrangements of bright and beautiful peonies and pink garden roses at both the ceremony and reception. The Barn was styled with rustic farmhouse tables, an amazing suspended floral chandelier over the head table (ModFete never disappoints!), lace table runners and glowing cafe lights strung inside and out. The head table was situated right beside dance floor, a unique layout option we loved for putting the bride and groom front and center to the party on the dance floor.

Denning and Tyler had tons of great personalized touches mixed into their reception, from the hot sauce favors (complete with adorable “Jalepely Ever After” labels), to their nontraditional choice of cheesecake tiered wedding cake, to the custom-made wooden monogram used as a guest book. Cornhole and dancing kept guests in the party spirit until time for the toasts, when Denning’s dad gave a speech that had everyone in tears. The happy couple made their exit through a packed tunnel of waving glow sticks, where the father of the bride had a surprise waiting for them. The waiting getaway car was a shiny white 1937 classic with white leather interior in mint condition. Denning and Tyler rode off to begin their happily ever after behind the “Just Married” emblems set on the doors. We were so happy to have been part of this fabulous day for this precious couple! Congratulations!
